Sample: Proposal Executive Summary

An illustration of how a proposal summary can state need, solution and outcome in a few lines.

Need: A small training provider wants to offer its courses online but has no written plan for doing so. Proposed approach: A short, three-stage plan covering course selection, platform choice and a pilot group. Outcome sought: A clear decision on whether to proceed, with the next step identified.

Sample: Translating Meaning, Not Words

A short illustration of re-expressing a business sentence naturally in the other language.

English: We look forward to working with you. A word-for-word rendering can sound stiff in Arabic. A natural version expresses the same courtesy using a phrase that Arabic business writing normally uses to close a message. The aim is the same warmth and formality as the original.
